Ridin' all I can
After a 20 year sabbatical from riding, I purchased a new Honda Shadow Aero in March of 2006. Six days before I paid off the Shadow, I totaled it. A guy ran a red light, and I laid it down to avoid hitting him. I was fortunate though. My Shoei helmet did it's job, and I got out with just a nasty case of road rash.
Allstate gave me a good settlement; though, and I got my next ride the same month -- a silver 2006 V-Star 1100 Silverado.
In March of 2011, after having the V-Star for about a year, I would up doing what I've wanted to do since I was a teenager -- buy a Goldwing!

Honda was trying to unload the last of the new 2010's before the new 2012's came out in April; (They didn't make 2011's due to moving the factory to Japan) so I got a good deal. My 2010 is one of the last Goldwings to be built in the US.
I used to ride with Ride-On DFW, a great group of folks who just love to ride. If you live in the Dallas area, be sure to check 'em out!
In November of 2012, I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah for work. The mountains are beautiful up here, but I don't get to ride year-round like is used to. Guess I'll have to make up for lost time once the snow melts!

Like your pictures alot -- I may be asking questions this year -- next year we are planning a trip east and south (East coast and then down through the south and then back up North to Illinois). Have fun riding!
