Never too old, never too late!
I have loved motorcycles since I was about 12 years old. I hadmostly been a passenger or rode a friend's bike. I never had the oportunity to have one of my own, until now. At age 42 I took a MSF rider course and purchased my first motorcycle. A Honda Shadow VLX.Loved it!! I rode that for a year and traded for this 2005 Shadow Spirit 1100. This is a very nice upgrade!I've added a few personal touches and I ride as often as I can.
I can't believe I waited so long to ride! But, perhaps the timing was just right. :-)
I recently had the opportunity to demo rideseveral HD models. I absolutely fell in love with the Lowrider and that will very likely be my next motorcycle. (a few years away yet!)
I've been able to make several day trips around Southern California. Joshua Tree National Park, San Diego, Big Bearand Malibu. I'm looking forward to my first overnighter.....Vegas, Baby!

The Dyna Lowrider is an excellent choice, low center of gravity and smooth on the highway. My wife(Flash) rode one for 4 yeras before trading in on her Road King Custom, and she misses her Lowrider! I think you wiil be very pleased when you make that upgrade!
