I'm not afraid of dying, I am, however, afraid of not living
Hi, My name is Joel but often on the road go by simply 'Doc'. Having been on two wheels a large portion of my life I can say that there is few things that compare to time spent on the 'Open Roads' that we have all around us. I have learned alot out there. There are sages and idiots at every bend. You must learn to take a bit of each with you, because even an idiot can teach you something sometimes! Number one, I am a die hard Harley rider, but I am not beyond admiring the fine workmanship of a BMW or other bike, Harley is just my preference. If there is a simple truth to riding it has to be 'It's not what you ride, rather, it's THAT you ride.' Number two, we are all out there for the same reasons, to enjoy the freedom that the poor souls stuck in cages cannot comprehend. And above all, we love life! And we make it one heck of a ride!
That having been said, I hope to see you out there on the road. If youre one who enjoys the breeze on your knees then you are part of this big family of motorcyclists. Love your brothers and sisters, look out for each other on the road, look at the rider first before you look at the ride and always, ride long, ride often.
Take care and God bless you and keep you safe.

Hi Doc...I've just signed today...read your page...like your style....like our philosophy of life and death.
Net time I'm your way we should meet up over a beer and share our stories...or, if you ever get down to NZ drop me a line....some awesome rides here although I'm particularly fond of riding the US.
