Hi there ttmarie! Liltabasco here. I am brand new to this site still checking out the dos and don'ts.
I've been to Arizona a few times. My favorite route is Interstate forty to Kingman Arizona. I normally catch the Turquoise Trail to just outside Albuquerque New Mexico and go to Sandia Peak. The Mountain top is a little over 11000 feet above elevation You can see the whole city from there. then I head North about twenty Miles to Madrid where part of the movie Wild Hogs was filmed for some souveniers. If you want to get back on I40 there are several sites to see like the Petrified Forest, the painted desert, the Continental Divide and others along the way. When you get to Kingman go to Oatman and see the little wild west town with the wild burros running all over town. Its a neat ride and a good place to go. Its also not far from the Hoover Dam, Vegas and Valley of Fire State Park.
Have a great time should you decide to take the trip. Come by my page and drop me line now and then. Its been my pleasure. RMFR!

Hi there ttmarie. I am new to the site too. I have my own 1998 Harley Fat Boy but for extended week trips, I prefer to be the navigator on the back of my husband's 2007 Street Glide. We are way down south in Miami and trying to set a route to travel north for some beautiful early fall scenery...we haven't firmed up the dates of travel yet. We love to ride but summer is just too darn hot in Florida on the black asphalt. Share any info on riding in your area. Last year we rode on the west coast but didn't make it that far north...stayed around Bradenton and Sarasota area and then south to home.
