AUTHOR'S DESCRIPTION:
Loop from Cedar Rapids/Marion, to a loop through Anamosa, down to Mount Vernon, and then back to Cedar Rapids/Marion, mainly on county highways. Couple twisty bits at the beginning as you head out on Secrist Road. Some nice curves and hills on the the loop north of Anamosa, especially as you are headed back into Anamosa on Ridge Road/E28.

Take a break by riding the loop through Wapsipinicon State Park and stopping for a picnic, or stop at a pub or restaurant in town. The National Motorcyle Museum is on main street, and J&P cycles are north of town on US 151.

Scenery is mostly farmland, but some nice wooded areas around Anamosa. Colors in the fall should be good. Nice and green during spring and summer if rainfall has been good.

Could easily expand from this route to other interesting places.
