Wonderful, beautiful ride! Twisties, switchbacks, rivers, beautiful scenery, and yes, it's like being in the mountains in Texas!

Great area to ride. Lots of open roads mixed with some good twisties. Take it with a group and enjoy many of the great stops along the way. Several of the rivers have areas you can stop and wet you feet and enjoy. Watch for animals on the roads with some of the exotic ranchs along the way. Ride safe.

This rivals some of the Arkansas roads. Nice ride.

Great ride in the spring during wildflower season. Watch posted speeds in turns, depending on what you ride, the speed may still present a suprise in some of the twisties. Always better to keep the shiney stuff upright. While you're in the neighborhood, don't forget to go to Lukenbach. Good BBQ & cold frosty beverages!

My brother and I, along with a friend, made this trip just recently (July 17-19, 2008) and it was the first time for all of us and it was an absolute awesome experience in which we hope to do again in the near future (Maybe Spring '09). The roads, the scenery, the old towns, the people, and the bikes (everywhere and every kind) all get top marks for adding to this great experience. Just keep your eyes open for wildlife running across the road(especially deer) in front of you.
