After nearly 20 years, we've decided to close our doors on August 11th and pursue our next grand adventure. The growth of this site and community surpassed our wildest expectations. This is a great ride. I regret I returned via interstate, but time became a factor.The rout takes you thru some of the most scenic area of the Nantahala and parts of Tennessee. The best route is Hwy 143 (Cherohala Pkwy) on finish ar Tellico Plains in Tn. Take your camera.The most scenic city is Highlands. NC on Hwy 64. Lake Lure and Sapphire Valley and also great. There are many nice little motels and a lot of biker friendly bars.I liked JD's in Franklin. These roads are near the Dragon's tail, and when in Robbinsville, you will see signs of this as well as souveniers.Enjoy the ride, but don't forget the raingear, it tends to rain at 5000 feet, when you lease expect it. ENJOY!!
