This ride is one that offers the country roads, a little city streets,a cruise along Tampa Bay, and even along the Gulf of Mexico. You canenjoy the nice shaded country roads in Pasco County passing through theTown of San Antonio. Once you turn on to Newberger Road, this road hassome nice twisty roads along some beautiful homes. This is a slowenjoyable road even on a dresser. Twenty five mile an hour limit onthis road which makes it even better to enjoy. You will then pastthrough Lutz. Enjoy Lutz Lake Fern Road and pay attention to the 90degree turns along this road. Once you are heading west on TarponSprings Road you will be turning on to Patterson Road. This road hassome nice twists to it but watch out for the street rockets and thepolice lately. This is a very popular road to ride in this area. Turnon to Racetrack Road takes you all the way to Tampa Bay in the City ofOldsmar. This area has some parks along the water to enjoy and everyyear there is the Oldsmobile Fest there. Oldsmar was the winter home ofthe founders of the Oldsmobile cars. Phlippee Parkway is not a normalparkway, it's a nice road with a few twist in it to keep itinteresting. You can stop by and visit the Indian Mounts in the parkalong this road. Once you get in to Safety Harbor enjoy the town (bestseen at night with the lights along Main Street). This town has somegreat little places to eat. Every 3rd friday evening they close MainStreet and have live music along with crafts and drinks (bring yourcooler along for this one). Main Street changes it's name to Sunsetonce you get out of town. This road will lead you to the sunset overthe Gulf of Mexico if you time it right. Head north along the gulf toDunedin. Other neat town to enjoy with some more great eating.
