In a city full of history, there is never a dull moment in Savannah,Georgia. During the course of a year our group of friends make several trips to Savannah. Our main objective is to get a slice of pizza at Vinnie Van Go Go's New York style pizza. Vinnie's is located at one end of City Market. It is a CASH ONLY (green stuff no cards) resturant with most seating outside under their covered porch. The pizza is awesome, with slices starting at $2.50 with extra toppings $.50 each. When I go very hungry, I can manage 2 slices. Sometimes the girls manage a slice and a half!!! Top that off with some choice beers and WOW, what a meal! And the scenery. besides the historic squares, buildings e.t.c. just watching the people, cars and bikes that cruise by are great too. After pizza and a walk around the shops of city market, of course a stop off at Savannah Sweets, We jump on the bikes to ride over to bay street near the famous River Street. Our main point of interest on River Street is getting a frozen drink at Wet Willie's. You can have such choices as Call-a-Cab, Sex on The Beach, Pina Colada, The Green Monster just to name a few. Then we ease outside to walk along the street, or along the Savannah River. Here we watch the giant ocean ships pass either coming in to the ports or departing heading for the sea. There is always some kind of good entertainment along the river walk. Sometimes we are here on first Saturday (of the month)and when that happens, there are streets vendors of all sorts here. There are many shops along the cobblestone street to check out. There are various eating places too, such as W.G. Shuckers, Tin Lizzy's, Fiddler's and Wet Willie's serves good food too. This is a great ride with good friends every time we go. On your next trip to Savannah, make sure to check it out!

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
