First, let me apologize for the double-posting. I thought I'd be able to edit my entries after they were published... at the very least, start from scratch and then delete the old ones. Live and learn.the TOUR... day 1Looking at the map, the goal was to get out of the city as quickly as possible. Everything within a couple hours from home, we ride frequently, so we sacrifice our favorite local routes so that we can get to areas we haven't ridden. From Manchester, NH, we travel west through some roads that I found here on ORJ. We hook up with 123 and 123A, and follow it through some great turns all the way to Vermont. After a quick drive-by of Ascutney State park, we go further west to meet up with VT 100. As you can see, VT100 follows the Eastern side of Green Mountain National Forest (we built in a couple of detours for the purpose of finding twisties) all the way up to Route 17.Route 17, if you zoom in, will speak for itself. We then find some backroads to get to Burlington.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
