This is a nice, all afternoon ride that I take a couple of times a year as an reason to have some good fish for lunch (Kettle Restaurant in Farmington). I leave Arnold, head south down Interstate 55 to Hwy 67, then continue south to Farmington. After lunch, ride continue south on Hwy 67 to Hwy 72 at Fredericktown. Turn west on Hwy 72 and enjoy a nice slightly twisty ride into Arcadia. Turn north on Hwy 21 and continue following Hwy 21 to Otto. After reaching Otto, take Hwy MM to House Springs and continue east on Hwy 30 to Applebee's in High Ridge for some refreshments at the end of the ride. There are numerous place to stop for refreshments including Baylee Jo's in Ironton, Northend Tavern in Desoto, and Applebee's in High Ridge. If you do this ride in the summer, bring a swim suit and take a dip in the river at Washington State Park. Depending on how fast you ride, this is a half day ride or can be all day long. Enjoy the ride.
