After nearly 20 years, we've decided to close our doors on August 11th and pursue our next grand adventure. The growth of this site and community surpassed our wildest expectations. This route takes in some nice quiet back roads through farm country with sweeping curves and some great straight aways with a few little hills. Then once you start getting near Galena you get some really nice twisties (the best you can find in Illinois). Nice views of the Mississippi River and the Fox River. Lots of places to stop and hang out for a while (Galena is a favorite spot on the weekends of bikers and tourists alike). The route takes you through the highest point in Illinois and then back down into farm country again.
