Back of the dragon loop

This was an enjoyable ride with beautiful scenery and uncountable gorgeous farms. We must have seen thousands of cows, sheep, deer, and several species of birds. The roads were winding and smooth with very little traffic throughout the entire day. This ride could easily be split into smaller loops if desired but the we found the ride to be easy and enjoyable. The back of the dragon was having some work done which entailed placing small stone along the edge of the road to eliminate any drop-offs. There were several corners with this small stone on the pavement which could easily cause a motorcyclist some problems if not being extremely careful. Since we're on a trike, no big concern, but thought we should mention it. The back of the dragon is not nearly as challenging as the tail of the dragon, but fun and more scenic with enough switchbacks to keep you on your toes. We also did much of the "Horn of the Cow" and some of the "Possum Run". All-in-all, a great ride!
