Nice back road Ranch atmosphere. I was going to take 195 down to Florence for a couple hour ride with the wife and decided... what the hell lets go down this road (Briggs) and go where it takes us. Sure enough... it is a route that I will be sure to take again with a couple buddies... if you luv that animal, manuer and open country smell along with nice winds and scenery, this is the road for you. Along the way we saw llamas, kangoroos, sheep, goats, cows, horses anything the country offers, it's there to see. The back roads are narrow and offer lots of tight turns (be careful) and little to no traffic. The last strip towards Lampassas is a good stretch of open multi-lane road for (70 mph). There are plenty of restraunts there in Lampassas as well. Ill be sure to add to this once I find more back roads to further extend this joyful and relaxing ride. Thanks for reading and hope you give this a try. Any cruise is a good cruise.

Very good route. Back roads are very narrow with sharp turns. I added HWY 190 into the route to come back to Killeen once reaching Lampasas.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
