This is a continuation of the Off to Bagdad trip. If you like empty roads and great scenery, then this ride is for you. Be sure to fill up with gas in Bagdad. You will experience open farm fields, flat desert and plenty of peace and quiet. Be sure to stop at the General store when you reach Skull Valley. Top off on gas again just as you get on 89 South. There are plenty of look out points on 89. It is also a great road if you have a sport bike and enjoy the twisties and sweeping turns. Stop off and enjoy some of the small towns along 89. When you get into Yarnell be sure to stop and look at the 12 Stations of the Cross. Even if you aren't religious it's pretty amazing. Just stop and ask anyone which side street to take to get there ( I don't remember the name ).

A nice quiet, curvey road that is not over populated. The people in Bagdad are very friendly. Makes for a nice day ride for sure.

This is a great day ride from the Phoenix area. Plan on about 2 hours to Prescott up 89A; stop at the Courthouse square for lunch before continuing out Iron Springs road towards Skull Valley. Scenery is gorgeous all the way to Bagdad. Roads are clean and mostly empty, with some fun twisty sections. With a return back 93 to Glendale, it's about 280 miles round trip.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
