Great mountain run during late spring and summer. Although the temperature can be nice in early spring, the sand from winter will still be hazardous. Traveling up Rt 6 and 119 give spectacular canyon riding with a beautiful stream along side part of the way. Through Nederland you will see breathtaking mountain views as you clear the tops. All while driving sweeping turns and twisties. A word of caution, Rt 6 and 119 are the main roads to the Black Hawk casino area. You would do best to avoid ruch hour which around noon and 6PM. Nederland is a great small town with great food. Estes is a great historical area and has additional riding through Rocky Mountain National Park. I'll list that one next :-)
