Much has been said and written about this area so let me just say that is possibly one of the best rides a person can take for just plain raw fun and beauty. This is true all the time, but especially in late October thru November when the leaves are changing. If you ride anything like my bike (LC 1500 Intruder) which has a small tank, be sure to fill up with gas before you go up on the drive. A must stop is Queen Wilhemena State Park where you can go to the lodge and eat and relax in the rocking chairs on the deck or take one of the short hikes around the lodge.
