After nearly 20 years, we've decided to close our doors on August 11th and pursue our next grand adventure. The growth of this site and community surpassed our wildest expectations. http://www.edelmon.netThis route takes you through most of the Big Bend area without going into the park. Recommended Stops are the San Solomon Springs in Balmorhea, the McDonald Observatory outside of Fort Davis, and the Terlingua Ghost Town.Some of this route goes through the Davis Mountains as well as through the Rio Grande river canyon. It's extremely hot and I don't recommend making this trip between June and October unless you are used to the extreme heat of the desert.The second part of the trip takes you across the Pecos river and into Langtry where Judge Roy Bean held court.Finally the last part of the route takes you on Twisted Sister #1. This is an extremely fun, yet technical road that is actually part of another ride I will add later.
