After nearly 20 years, we've decided to close our doors on August 11th and pursue our next grand adventure. The growth of this site and community surpassed our wildest expectations. Great Ride! The Blue Highway runs along the Gulf Coast with a view of the water. There are a quite a few watering holes and good seafood restaurants along the route. Don't miss the Lazy Oaks Bar on Stewart Road in Galveston. Gas up at the Buccees right before you get to Surfside- the next gas station is about 5 miles across the San Luis Pass bridge in Galveston. If you go on the weekends in the summertime-expect traffic!
