I took this trip in early October and had a marvelous time! My stay overs were in Grand Junction, CO; Lincoln, NE; Chicago, IL; and Kalamazoo, MI. On the return trip my stayovers were in Rolla, MO; Tucumcari, NM; and Phoenix, AZ. Surprisingly I was able to ride a good 10-12 hours each day. I've always wanted to make this ride and I'm glad I did. I can't even tell all the things I stopped to look at. I tried finding the world's largest ball of twine but that's in Kansas and I didn't go through Kansas. Bummer! If you ever get the chance to travel the states on your motorcycle, do it! Don't let it pass! It's easier than you think and SO exhilerating!

Good for you!! But it is a shame to waste an epic journey on the interstate system. Next time try the state & county highways, even if you have to make a shorter trip becasue of time. The people you meet & the things you see can't be found on the interstates. Just an old bikers opinion.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
