This little stretch of Highways 76, 79, and 78 in San Diego county is a beautiful ride. Starting on Hwy 76 you can make a pit stop at an out-of-the-way place called The Hideout. This little eatery is VERY biker friendly. It is tucked away in the trees on Center Loop Drive off the 76 across from Lake Henshaw. Turning south on Hwy 79 you can stop at Dudley's Bakery in Santa Ysabel. Continue on to Julian and Cuyamaca State Park. Jumping on the I-8 heading west for a small stretch you then head north on Hwy 67 through some of San Diego's beautiful country side. Head into Ramona for fuel and hit Hwy 78 and the Wild Animal Park in the San Pasqual Valley. For you gambling fans, Hwy 76 takes you by 4 different indian gaming casinos. Pala, Pauma, Harrah's, and Valley View. The 79 takes you to Santa Ysabel casino. All are biker friendly.I recommend 4-6 hours (possibly longer!)of ride time for eating, gambling and other fun stuff!

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
