WARNING!!! First let me tell you this ride is not for the 'Sport Bike' group, you will get bored unless you are also into beautifull scenery at low speeds! You may encounter unpaved sections, depending if road department is up to date, but they will be hardpacked and short. We ride these on H-D touring bikes.

Most likely you would never know this road was here, unless like me, you have family in the area and I owned a cabin in Tiger for a few years. I will warn you that the road gets some loose gravel and there is a couple places where the mountain drains over the road into the lake, but they are only a couple inches deep and only a few feet wide and it is still a paved road.

You come out onto Bridge Creek Road, Burton Dam Road and GA. 197 along the way so you can air it out a little.

This ride takes you around one of the lakes owned by Ga. Power. Beautifull Multi Million dollar homes.

There is a marina/boat rental place on the west side of the lake. If you have the time, I reccomend renting a boat and seeing the sites from the lake. You get a better view of the mountain lake and it's homes.

After turning back east on US 76, cross Lake Burton, pass Charlie Mtn. Road, watch for Liberty Church Road(also has had a sign that said Davis Gap Rd.), when you turn right here, be in low gear and ready for a hard right straight up the hill. It is a fun short little road to Bridge Creek Rd. Turning left back into Tiger and left onto Old US 441(S. Main St.) and left back into town.

This is a nice trip, especially if you incorporate the boat trip! You will spend all day.

This is a motorcycle ride in the state of Georgia. This motorcycle route has 5 scenery characteristics and other road conditions to help you plan your road trip. This motorcycle map was created by felon in August. Click here to see other Motorcycle Roads by felon

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
