Sonoma County roads are relatively well kept. Coleman Valley Road is a blast. Running out Occidental Road, up 116 for 2 minutes, and then over to Occidental. Then up and over the top of Salmon Creek on Coleman Valley Road. When you get to the top, the views are too nice to not stop. Looking down over the entire world, have a pee, smoke, whatever. Continue on and on the other side, when you get to the ocean, stop for coffee and ride back through sebastopol.Tips and hints...Coleman Valley road is narrow, only wide enough for one and a half cars and the elevation changes constantly. Take it easy on the downhills as they can get away from you, but lay down low in the corners. The quality of the road at the beginning, the eastern end, leaves a little to be desired, but once you're up and out of the trees, you're golden.

I live on Coleman Valley Road. Please drive the speed limits, too many in particular motorcycles speed through here. Loud mufflers used on some of the motorcycles are annoying. We have moved here and pay high mortgages to obtain peace and serenity. "Smoking and peeing" on the road is not appreciated. TYVM
