Great Run which alternates from long straights to smooth cornering. HWY 115 is a great warmup to the road and has newly paved black top most the length. jump onto 50 and stop for gas in canon city take a moment to make sure the bike hasn't sprung any problems. heading north on hwy 9 is great be cautious of sand on the edges of the road and some parts have no shoulder. once you make it throught the long dull straight run to fairplay stop and fill up again grab a quick drink if need be lunch is just down the road on 285 at a small play called connie island, it's hard to miss it look like a hotdog. grab something to eat and enjoy the stream that runs nearby. after that it's the exciting part 285 which generaly has moderate trafic and is downhill most the way so if your worried about it use you head.
