This is a nice, 2+ hour ride with long quiet stretches of state highway. Very light traffic. Some stretches are completely straight over rolling hills. Very scenic. There are views of lakes, the Damn, rivers but mostly southern forest. Very peaceful. This ride ends up on the interstate but can easily be adjusted to avoid it. We usually take this ride early and eat breakfast in Greatfalls. There are a number of historical sights along the way. One being the tiny one room police station on main street in Ridgway. (Special significance, My grandfather was the police chief in Ridgway for years and years during that era.)

I've made variations on this theme for years. It's a nice ride with little traffic. DOT is doing resurfacing on many roads on this ride. Be per-paired for that. Otherwise it's a nice ride.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
