If you have ever wanted to try a light camping trip, there is a nice tent campground a few miles past cooks corner. Cooks breakfast with coffee & bloody marys is much easier than bringing a camp stove!

I took this ride just last night and it was outstanding!
I started at 8:30 so it was already dark and cooled down considerably. I was riding my 91 GL1500 that I just bought a month ago. there were not to many cars on the road and most of the traffic was northbound and about 50% motorcycles.
I am still trying to acclimate myself to the new wing as I have not ridden in a dozen years but this road is a good intermediate road with enough twists to get your heart rate up and keep you alert.
I love the fact that I can be there in 20 minutes!
anyway I highly recomend this route and look forward to trying some of these others soon.

I live near by and it is a nice cruise to get through to south orange county. Very mellow ride, nice scenery. After you turn at cooks, you can get into some nice twisties, but with the speed only 35 and all the cops.... I wouldn't recommend trying to go fast through there.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
