Beautiful scenery and great twisties, this road has it all. The only thing that would make it better is if it were free (~5 bucks admission). It is a tourist location so the road will get more crowded as the day goes on.

Crater Lake is a very scenic and fabulous place. I've been there 100's of times. Many times on the bike and many times on skis. I was a CL Ski Patroller for 15 years. The summer rides around the lake are great, but sking there in the winter, on a blue bird day after a major winter storm can't be beat.

If you're within 100 miles of this place, it is definitely worth the side trip to see it. In my top 10 for scenic rides. and it has twisties too! I posted some pictures here: http://www.openroadjourney.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=13&PID=459#459

Really pretty place. Not really what I would class as a super bike road due to having to stop at all the viewpoints to take pictures & all the tourists. But!! It is an awesome place to see. We are so glad we checked it out. 5 bucks is pretty cheap to see sights like these.
