This route starts at the McKinley Memorial in Canton and ends at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton. The outward route follows the state route 800 south out of Canton. It was the primary route south to Dover before the interstate. It's easy riding but there may be a bit of traffic getting out of Canton South. Don't expect much traffic for most of the rest of the ride. State route 212 takes you along Conotton Creek. In Bowerston take state route 151 to Scio, Until this point the two lane roads are pretty tame. State route 646 goes through New Rumley on the way to Germano. There is a Monument for General George Armstrong Custer in New Rumley, his birthplace. Graves dating to the early 1800s can be found in the old Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery. This section should remind you of a roller coaster. At Germano turn south on state route 9 to Jewett and rejoin state route 151 going east. This two lane is in great shape and is full of unbelievable twisties all the way to the Ohio River. State route 7 is a divide highway and affords views of the Ohio River as you proceed towards Steubenville. From here state route 43 will return you to Canton on decent roads.

Agreed, loads of fun, and great roads. Nice route, and the Custer Memorial is surprisingly full of details. It's built on the foundation of the house he was born in.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
