Cold again today with 45mph winds for a little excitement. Headed north on ID75 through the Sawtooth N.R.A. the views were awesome, Idaho is indeed a pretty state. Stopped at Redfish Lake a beautiful area with terrific camping facilities (I camp out at Best Westerns etc.). Stopped in Stanley and had lunch (and a pastry yum!) at the Stanley Bakery (excellent food and service). At Stanley we took ID 21 south which provide us with some more awesome scenery. There are so many spectacular vistas etc. that I run out of adjectives to describe them. You will have to excuse me. Continuing south on ID21 to Idaho City where we had intended to stop at Trudy's but they had a recent fire there and were closed so instead we went for a few beers at Harley's Pub, a typical western bar with nice folks inside. WX had been so bad over the last few days that there were rumblings of mutiny i.e. 'I'm sick and tired of this f#!+ingcold, rain and snow I'm going south and you guys can meet me back in CO'. Plans may change. Eased on in to Boise ( in the rain)and checked at the Inn of America (very nice and also reasonable). After dinner and drinks the rebellion was quelled and we went to bed with plans to continue on our original itinerary.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
