After nearly 20 years, we've decided to close our doors on August 11th and pursue our next grand adventure. The growth of this site and community surpassed our wildest expectations. This short 47 mile route is best to start to meet the sun setting half way in the route. The lighting is wonderful and the views are plenty. Leave early and stop for dinner at Fontana Village Wildwood Grill or get fancy at the hotel dining. I highly recommend the 'Cowboy' steak. Again, 143 heading in a south westerly direction puts you in a position of admiring without the sun glare. Enjoy the ride on 129 along the river and back to Tapoca and the Dam.There are a few places along the route to stop for fuel, food, or pull off for admiring the views.
