Death Valley to Flagstaff via the Grand Canyon

Thas a nice trip. The winds in this area are brutal.They can blow you sideway in a flash. The rain storms are sudden and severe. If you see a storm coming, seek shelter. These are not ride on thru the rain type of storms. I enjoyed most of the trip, but traffic becomes a problem around Las Vegas and Boulder Dam. You also will be stopped by Security to inspect some vehicles. There are many vantage points to see the dam and the surrounding area. But this is a heavy tourist area, so progress will be slow. Grand Canyon, what can I say. Beautiful, majestic, and awesome. Loved it. I want to return and spend more time exploring. Take a canyon ride or hike. (need to be in better shape for the latter).
