This started out as one of our 'normal' rides..get on and see where we go. The route thru Wyocena/Pardeeville is just a ride thru town. The section down 44 to 73 is a nice ride thru some very senic farm country, hilly and curvy. This is also Amish country so you have to be alert for the horse and buggies. Also lots of sections that the white tails like to surprise you so stay alert. Then you take Cty Hwy B, this is also farm country with some blind intersections depending on the height of the corn. Of course you have to be aware of slow moving farm equipment also. After making the right trun out of Ripon and back on 44 just run it into Pickett and make the stop at the gas station. We originally stopped there for...GAS! Well, it being a nice warm summer day an ice cream sounded good. They actually have their own stuff their and usually have six different flavors. So I ordered a double scoop waffle cone. The girl kinda looked at me funny but what the heck, most people do.Well, let me tell you...after she puts the fourth scoop on this thing I was beging to understand the look a bit better! There must have been a pint of ice cream on that thing. So, I did the smart thing and turned my back as Lovie walked up and let her order a double also. I think she got a wee bit upset about that, oh well!Anyway, the cost of the cones was jsut a bit over five bucks, couldn't believe the price either. Darn cheap. So after we somehow finished most of the cones we decided we had to find a different way home, which is what we always do if possible. The rest of the route is pretty much farm country and makes for a very nice summer ride.
