Dleand breakfast loop

This ride follows the the new bicycle path to Deleon Springs State Park where located in the park is a unique place for breakfast. note nominal fee to enter Park.

The 'Old Spanish Sugar Mill' Grill & Griddle House is a fantastic place for breakfast with your group. You can cook your own pancakes at your table. Go to 'Florida State Parks' for more info.

Starting downtown DeLand take West 44 2.7 miles and take a left on Grand Ave. there is a conveinience store/gas station on the corner. take Grand Ave. and at the 4way stop take a left which will still be Grand ave and follow about 5miles to Wheeler street and turn left turn right on Park ave. Park ave will end just in front of DeLeon Springs State Park.

If you decide not to have breakfast continue past the Park on County road 3.
Continue north on county road 3 which is scenic rural Florida. Cross over hwy 40 through the town of Pierson to Hwy 17. Take a left north 17 to Seville and take a right at the convienience/gas store on county road 305 (at flashing light). You can contiue on 305 to hwy 100 and hang a right back to hwy 11 for a longer ride. I usually turn right onto 304 to hwy 11 andright back toward DeLand. Take 11 till it runs into hwy 17 in DeLand about 23 miles. Take a left on 17 and follow, will turn into downtown of Deland with many nice shops and resturants.
