One of my favorite local rides.
Start in Rising Sun to add another 15 miles of great road to this route.
Watch for gravel and some uneven pavement in a few places. Deer are also plentiful in the evening, so just keep an eye out.
Stop in Friendship at the little country grocery store for a lunchmeat sandwich and a cold drink. Picknic table on the front porch. Also a bar where bickers hang out. Great scenery and plenty of curves. Downtown Madison along the Ohio river is also nice.
You'll also meet plenty of other riders along the way. Not many cages.
