This is a good one day ride from my area to the mountains and back. It takes about 3-4 leisurely hours to get the Brevard. Be sure and fill up before leaving Easley as there are few gas stops until you get to Brevard. Stop by Caeser's Head for scenic overlook and a good place to picnic. Lunch is available in Brevard if you want to eat in a restaurant. From Brevard, you can either go further in the mountains on Hwy 276 or if you are not spending the night go west on Hwy 64 to Hwy 178 and come back through Pickens but stay on 178 to Anderson and take Hwy 28 back to McCormick then Hwy 378 to Hwy 25 and Hwy 25/Hwy 23 back to Johnston. Also can go to Cashiers and take Hwy 107 to Hwy 28 and follow the above back. Third Choice is to go to Franklin and take Hwy 28 south and follow the above back. Lots of fun on the mountain roads and some beautiful scenery.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
