Started out for Chihuahua Mexico but an unfortunate 'get off' by my riding partner terminated our trip. Left his bike in Natchez and he rented a car while I rode back to Florida.
However what we did see were some great beaches along the Florida Panhandle, beautiful pine forests in Alabama and Mississippi. We made a stop in Monroeville Alabama the birthplace of Harper Lee and home to her boyhood friend Truman Capote. The museum was quite interesting especially for those who have read "To Kill a Mockingbird". We visited Vicksburg National Military Park, rode the Natchez Trace Parkway (very nice) and spent two nights in Natchez. Natchez Under the Hill is worth a visit, lots of history there and the whole area for that matter. Nice ride....to that point.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
