I love this route just because there is little to no traffic, and the road has lots to curves and such, and you are almost always in shaded tree cover. I can only say to be careful as the pavement has deteriorated over time and while it's pretty smooth, there is hidden gravel in some of the corners that will get you if you aren't paying attention. I rode it several years ago and it was great, but the last two time I have slid a little in a couple of the corners even when I wasn't going very fast. So even if the road invites a "spirited" ride,,, make it a relaxed ride instead. You might even detour to the campground just below the dam while you are riding by.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
