I started out early in the morning so the air was crisp and cool. Route 46 was mostly backroads with some suburb mixed in. This route gives you a great view of the TX hill country. Its not twisty nor straight and is a nice smooth piece of asphalt. Bandera to Leakey was more of the typical small canyon rural roads of Texas. I'm guessing that counties where this roads belongs were not as rich since the asphalt was not as nice as 46. Be aware of small animals and at least one cow on this route. I only had time to ride on leg of the three sisters route but it was well worth it from a sport riders perspective. Most of the road was fast and I spent much of the time with my feet back on the pegs. When I hit 336 there was very little traffic of any kind since it was a weekday. I would recommend the same for you because this is a popular road.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
