Start in Girdwood or if you have to start in Anchorage but add an extra 30mins or so. Ride to Hope its the best road in Alaska with turns and beautiful turnouts of the ocean and mountains. Sometimes you can see whales and seals. Theres also the possibilty of see moose and bears. The road to Seward is great has a little bit of everything. Beautiful sights to whole way. Take your time, and eat some good seafood.

Absolutely awesome ride. Leave real early say around 6 a.m. to avoid getting stuck behind tourists who can't seem to drive the speed limit and RV's. Lots and lots of RV's.

It's hard to find a more scenic road than the Turnagain and Seward Highways. The only downsides are weather -- one of the two most miserable rides I have ever been on was the Turnagain Highway on a cold, wet, windy day -- and the non-stop RV traffic in the summer. However, on a warm, sunny day, this road is a slice of Heaven!

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
