This is a short, very scenic, ride on a mountain road. Make sure you gas up before you start because there are no gas stations on this ride. There are a lot of twisties and turnouts with beautiful views of the mountains, valleys, and the Angeles National Forrest. On clear days you'll be able to see to Pacific Ocean. You'll spend most of your time in 2nd gear as you carve through the road. I recommend going from west to east because you won't have the sun in your eyes and you'll have better visibility so you can see if a car is coming. Half of the ride you'll be on road with no center line, and on some days there are a lot of drifter cars to look out for. If you go from west to east you can take a left when you reach the stop sign on Mt. Baldy road and about a block up you'll find the Baldy Lodge on the right which is a great place for food and drinks. Once you reach Mt. Baldy road you'll have a faster road with sweeping curves as you head down. I wouldn't recommend this ride during the snow season.

This is a nice scenic route just note that you see Drifters at night and a lot of Sport Bikes going up and down on GMR enjoying the twisties. I know, I use to drop knee all the time on this route.

Season:
Summer is the best. Spring and Fall are good.
Winter season is awful, a lot of black ice.
