This ride will take about 8 hours. We made the loop on a Sunday, stopping once for gas, once to buy a couple of windbreakers (Dunhams in Coldwater), and once for a 45 minute lunch break. There is an average number of curves and some rolling terrain in places but generally, this part of Michigan is fairly flat and the roads are rather straight. It is, however a nice and scenic ride if all you're looking to do is ride for a day. We stopped for lunch at The Eaton Place in downtown Charlotte in late afternoon. The food was good and the service was OK but the waitress must have been having a bad day because she wasn't very friendly. Jonesville had like a community wide sidewalk sale the day we were there (8/12/12) and although we didn't stop at any of them, judging by the tents, it looked to us like it might be an ongoing thing in that town. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxing ride with very little traffic and smooth roads.
