Grannies Head

Sorry there are no pics, but you can go see it yourself. We took about 5 hours including breaks for gas lunch and liquids. 254 out of Thomaston, this road just runs left onto 118 into Litchfield. Take a right onto 202 and go hard all the wat to Torrington. Make your way thru Torrington, up Water St. to Rte. 4 Go north on 272 run up to 44 (enjoy 272 I did) head east on 44 the nice part of 44 until you hit 7 south ride that into Kent. Go East on 341, one of my favorite roads, then jump on 45 until you hit 202 again. Taking the ride around the lake is up to you it's tight, it's twisty, it's also putting at 30mph, but the lake is nice. Take a right onto 202 ride that until you hit 109. 109 has three hills in the first 4 miles the last one is the best. From here you can run 109 all the way or try different routes. We took 61 to 6 to 262 for a change.
