This is our day 2 route over northern Maine /New Hampshire/Vermont that we travel each spring the weekend before Memorial Day. We always enjoy this route because of the scenery , lack of traffic , twisty sections and abundance of wildlife. Each year we see moose and deer and occasionally wild turkeys. Dixville Notch between Errol and Coldbrook NH always provides excitement not to mention high pucker factor!! The Sunset Inn motel in Hyde Park is a nice motel with a resturant next door that always has good food. The prime rib dinner is always a favorite.
