An easy morning or afternoon jaunt up Hines Drive. Only a few intersection lights and top speed 40mph but fun, twisting roads up and down hills and though the Rouge River Valley. Start in Dearborn via westbound Ford Road M153 and head west by northwest to Northville. At Northville spme opt to head out to Hell Michigan using 7 Mile or North Territorial Road; both fun rides with great views of farmlands.Otherwise, when Hines ends head south on Sheldon and 7 Mile Road. Go through Plymouth following the route to Old Town where there are several bars, food establishments and also a brewery. When done head north to Hines Drive and follow back as needed. Note: 40 mph and every Saturday from May to September between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Hines is closed to Motor Vehicles from Outer Drive to Ann Arbor Trail.

I've ridden this route several thousand times (yes, really) and it never gets boring. It has sweepers, hills, a lake and it runs right along side the Rouge River. And N. Territorial is a tree-covered gem in its own right. Put them together and it doesn't get much better.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
