This makes for a fun day trip. Starting out near San Bernardino take San Timoteo Canyon road through Beaumont to Banning where you catch the 243 for a great ride to Idyllwild. From there drop down to Hemet past Gilman Hot Springs North on 79 to Oak Glen. After Oak Glen it's an easy ride back to the starting point.
