as everyone knows, if you live in the central part of illinois, you have to ride a lest 1 1/2 hrs to get to anywhere. when you get to Loogootee Indiana things get alot better. Rt 450 is a super road. twist and turns clear to Bedford. from Bedford to Nashville, Super roads all the way through. North out of Nashville more good roads to Martinsville. going north on Rt 67 to 142 are all good roads to Terre Haute.

the ride was totally boring all the way till you hit loogootee,then the fun begins!!from that point all the way back to terra haute was awsome! excellent scenery,and fantastic curves.we took this trip in october and the leaves were still too thick to see anything from the overlooks.the route also takes you through nashville which is one of those cool old towns that have a ton of shops and ice cream joints like galena il.but i will say this it was over 300 miles in a day im pretty sore so im gonna go get a message!!thanx for the ride gunner00!!
