A Loop through canyons and mountains which has some great scenery and fossil areas. This is one of the richest mammal fossil areas in the United States. Roads are twisty, well maintained and uncrowded. Fossil Beds National Monument has a new visitor center with great displays. Camping sites are numerous in the area and lots of other local roads offer more great motorcycling options.Watch out for deer....night riding is not recommended. While this loop can be done in a single day there are lots to things to see and camping overnight is a great option.

This is a great loop. I like to go over to the John Day area around Memorial Day Weekend and ride a loop like this every day for 3 or 4 days. Here is a link to motorcycle maps for the area. http://www.comeridewithus.net/About_Us.php

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
