Lake Ozark to Versailles
- Distance: 24 miles / 38.6 km
- Ride Time: 1-2 hours
- Approximate Fuel Costs: $1.82
- State: Missouri
Close to Lake Ozark the speed limit is slow less than 40. But it is very, very and there is aggresive law enforcement there due to the high number of injury and fatal accidents. Boat the road in general is good, the curves are great and peg scraping is a possibility. Not a road for nervous nellies nor crotch rocks that like to go fast straight. Going into out or of Versailles, there is a deceptively sharp corner that is also well marked with car skid marks because people go too fast. Animals are also a possibility although generally between 9am-5 pm they stay hidden. Rush hour traffic can get you caught behind farmer Bob and Granny going well below the speed limit with very limited passing opportunties.
