This is a loop, so you can really start/end anywhere. Some of my favorite roads are 113/Holderness Rd. along Squam Lake, of course the world-famous Kancamagus Pass, and Chinook Trail in Albany/Tamworth/Wonalancet. Rte. 118 from Warren to N. Woodstock is quite nice too. Note that Chinook Trail (113-A) is exceptionally beautiful, but may be badly maintained (potholes, frost heaves, loose chunks of pavement), so you can choose to bypass this by taking 16 south to 25 West, then going north on 109 to meet up with Holderness Rd. in Sandwich.Be sure to stop in N. Conway, lots of shopping, great restaurants. Sandwich is great for antiquing and great food at the Corner House Inn on the corner of 109 and 113 (open lunch and dinner). Don't forget to fill up on gas and use restrooms in Lincoln, as the Kancamagus Hwy is 32 miles of NO FACILITIES.Dinner in Plymouth is a great end to the day, the Italian Farmhouse on Rte. 3 South (just south of downtown) is casual but exceptionally good food. Since Plymouth is also a college town, it has all the typical pizza joints, bars, etc. in downtown.

rode almost this exact route last weekend, had alot of fun, no real hairpins to speak of except on hurricane mountain road, but the views were great, nice sweepers, moderate traffic, etc. road quality was iffy, the weather has done it's damage, but overall a very enjoyable day. i ride a 2009 bmw r1200r.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
