Very lovely ride. Have done it numerous times. Visit the dams before you head down this ride. You will see buffalo along this route sometimes. But in the Buffalo preserve they won't allow motorcycles. However, just south of that sometimes they are out grazing in a big pasture alongside the road.

Excellent ride! Many interesting things to see and do. You will see herds of bison while traveling this road. Be sure to stop at the Visitor’s Center. Also visit “The Homeplace” and the many beautiful parks, campgrounds and trails. Towards the northern end of this road you will find the little village of Grand Rivers, KY. Be sure to stop and visit Patti’s for lunch or dinner and then visit the picturesque Lighthouse Landing Marina. To get a map, go to: http://www.lbl.org/LBLGeneralMap.pdf

Luckily I live 25 Miles from the Visitor Center at LBL so I can go often. There are always new things to see and experience with the changing of the seasons. The only thing that keeps Me from giving this 5 stars is that I have ridden in West Virginia and most other roads pale by comparison.
